A little paradise in the mountains

They have become rare, those little spots on earth that promise us the rest and relaxation that are so easily lost between notebook and app. Assling is such a paradise - here the clocks run a little more leisurely.

Many love Assling above all because a certain tranquillity lies over everything. That does not mean it is boring. On the contrary: there is plenty of variety on offer, be it in sport, culture or scenery. With brass bands, riflemen’s clubs and the sports union, club and social life here is wonderfully intact.

Old customs are cherished, and a few new ones have joined them.

Everyone still knows everyone, there are inns and shops that have grown over generations - and the church has stayed in the village.
